The Kongu College of Arts and Science Library (established in 2004) is a dynamic learning resource centre dedicated to supporting academic excellence, research, and lifelong learning. The library is well-stocked with a comprehensive collection of books, journals, magazines, online periodicals, and digital resources across all disciplines. With well-trained staff, modern systems including barcode technology, Wi-Fi connectivity, and an open-access arrangement, the library provides a user-friendly environment that enriches the student community and faculty with quality information resources.
The library serves the needs of all stakeholders – students, teaching and non-teaching staff, research scholars, and external researchers – by providing timely access to information, reference services, reprographic facilities, and bibliographic support to help them succeed in academics, competitive exams, campus interviews, and research.

Students may borrow books for a period of 15 days from the date of issue
Books may be renewed if no other user has placed a reservation
Borrowing is limited to current members only; books are not transferable to other persons
To maintain a conducive academic environment, all users are expected to follow these rules:
A valid college ID card is required for entry and borrowing of books
Users must scan their ID card at the electronic gate register upon entering and exiting the library to record their visit
Strict silence must be maintained inside the library
Group discussions and loud conversations are not permitted
Mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the library
Personal books and files should be left on the designated rack at the library entrance; only plain notebooks and essential stationery may be brought inside
Books taken from the shelves should not be replaced on the racks; they should be left on reading tables
Users must handle all books and library property with care; damage or misuse will be subject to disciplinary action.
Books must be returned on or before the due date
Late returns will incur an overdue fine of Rs. 1 per day
Journals and back volumes of periodicals are not available for borrowing; these may be consulted within the library only

If replacement is not possible, five times the cost of the book will be collected as compensation
